About Me

My name is Aaron Kelley and I am in my third semester of my master's degree at the Institute of Mathematics of the National Autonomous University of Mexico under the supervision of Dr. Marco Tulio Angulo. In my master's thesis, I helped develope and apply a novel homology theory of hypergraphs to structural ecology—specifically, the assembly and disassembly processes in multispecies ecosystems. I enjoy my current project very much, but am also interested in other areas of math that I don't necessarily use directly in my research, such as category theory and (especially) logic. I am currently looking for a PhD position.
